This is the new Mazda 6e. Yup, you read that as ‘six-e,’ and it’s not a fancy way of saying ‘Mazda 60.’
This sedan is the newest electrified model in Mazda’s lineup in the region and was unveiled at the 2025 Bangkok International Motor Show. It looks the part of both an electric sedan and a Mazda 6 successor, with a very classy and futuristic front end. There’s an illuminated front fascia in place of the grille, enclosed in a gaping light bar and flanked by sleek headlights.
The rear is just as elegant as the front, with an unmistakable Mazda light signature. It’s as clean as a Mazda can get as well, with just the Mazda badge spelled out on the trunk and the 6e emblem on the rear left side.

The Mazda 6e also sits on beautiful two-tone alloy wheels that match the black cladding and silver trim on the sides quite nicely. While one might say that it isn’t necessarily a step up from the current Kodo design language that we see in the current Mazdas, it’s a step in a new direction, that’s for sure.
Local specs weren’t shared just yet, but we know from the first global announcement that the fully electric Mazda will have two battery configurations available. The bigger 80kWh battery comes with a maximum range of 552km, while the smaller 68.8kWh enables 479km of range.
This is one of two Mazda EVs slated to be launched in Thailand in 2025. Now that it’s already in the region, there’s a chance we could eventually see this in our market. What do you guys think of it?
