It might seem like a lifetime ago now, but we still remember when automotive events worldwide got called off left and right during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) was right around the corner, but of course, the coronavirus forced that to cancel, too.
Fortunately, event organizers have already found ways to hold these motor shows amid this pandemic, mostly through digital mediums. MIAS event organizer Worldbex Services International will be taking the same approach with this year’s show, as it has just announced that it will be hosting MIAS Wired from December 16 to 20, 2020.
Just like the previous shows, MIAS Wired will feature the latest car models, cutting-edge innovations, and the newest automotive trends. There will also be activities for car enthusiasts during the online event.
The organizers’ statement reads: “The country’s top car brands, car accessories, automotive technology, and car enthusiasts alike will be the first to witness this kind of collaboration under one virtual event.”
What do you think of this new digital event, readers? If you’re looking to attend this year’s show, you can head on over to the MIAS website or to its social media channels for more details and to register.
