If you're in the market for a family MPV, Volkswagen Philippines has released a model just in time for the new year. Pictured here is the updated Caddy, available in two variants: Comfortline and Sportline.
Cruise control, touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity, a six-speaker sound system, leather seats, front foglights, and auto-folding side mirrors come standard. The Sportline gets extras like 17-inch alloy wheels, driver alert system, smoked rear lamp cover, body-colored side moldings with chrome inserts, and silver roof rails.
The new Caddy is powered by a 1.6-liter turbodiesel with 101hp and 250Nm on tap, mated to a seven-speed DSG 'box. VW touts other features like its flexible seating, generous luggage space, and safety features that include numerous airbags, flat tire indicator, and electronic engine immobilizer.
Available colors are Candy White for both variants, Deep Black Pearl and Chestnut Brown exclusively for the Comfortline, and Fortuna Red for the top-spec Sportline. The Comfortline variant costs P1,430,000, while the Sportline is slightly pricier at P1,480,000.
