This is the new Roush Nitemare, the latest generation of Roush’s flagship Ford F-150 street truck. So yes, you could refer to it as a recurring nitemare. Apologies.
Anyway, this thing certainly looks the part. We’re assuming the misspelled name is a reference to the factory F-150 Nite edition back in the early ’90s, rather than the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card or Bob Dylan song. That means it needs a menacing black paint job. Check.

As it’s a street truck, it also needs a properly slammed suspension setup. Check. Roush’s Advanced Lowered Suspension System includes coilovers, drop spindles, twin-tube dampers, and a larger diameter anti-roll bar. We’re told it’s three inches lower up front and five inches at the rear compared to a factory F-150.

“We engineered the Nitemare to be more than just a head-turner,” said Jack Roush Jr. “It’s one of the best handling trucks we’ve ever built. Our lowered suspension system and precision-tuned handling components will let drivers carve the track with confidence while maintaining the everyday drivability expected from a Roush vehicle.”

Yep, this is an F-150 that you might actually take on a track day. Yikes.
Thankfully, the Nitemare package also adds upgraded performance brakes, a cat-back exhaust system, and lightweight 22-inch wheels. Oh, and while it’s not an official part of the kit, Roush will also supercharge the F-150’s 5.0-liter V8 for just $8,650 (around P480,000) plus installation costs. That gets you 695hp and 860Nm of torque.

The Nitemare—which, incidentally, costs $19,999 (approximately P1.11 million) plus a donor truck for regular cab versions or $22,150 (roughly P1.23 million) for SuperCrews—also comes with amber lighting on the grille, hood vents, Roush graphics, and a retrimmed interior with black and red leather. You can also have aluminum pedals, and there’s carbon-fiber interior trim as an option.
See, it is a proper track car after all...
