It’s not just Honda that’s going all out for the upcoming 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS). The folks from Suzuki are also going full force in the aftermarket show by displaying a trio of custom car concepts.
What are the cars, you ask? Suzuki will enter the Spacia kei car, the fourth-generation Swift, and the Japan-spec Super Carry in TAS 2024. Oh how we wish we had tickets to Tokyo right now.

Suzuki Spacia Papa Boku Kitchen

Starting with the Spacia, Suzuki has turned the boxy little hatchback into a mini kitchen on wheels. No, we’re not kidding, and if you think the concept is out there, wait ’til you hear the name. Dubbed the Papa Boku Kitchen, the company has this to say about the concept. Roughly translated from Japanese, it is ‘expressing the worldview of family camping, where communication between parents and children thrives through cooking’.
Suzuki Swift Cool Yellow Rev

Just months after its world premiere at the 2024 Japan Mobility Show, the new generation Suzuki Swift gets a couple of visual enhancements for TAS 2024. The result is the Cool Yellow Rev concept, and it might just become a limited edition variant should it reach production. Gloss black highlights are the main attraction here, along with its matte yellow paint and a graphics package to make it stand out even more.
Suzuki Super Carry Mountian Trail

Of course, the display wouldn’t be complete without a customized Super Carry. Suzuki didn’t disappoint this year by turning the little truck into a pint-sized off-roader. It’s called the Mountain Trail, and it gains extra ground clearance, meaty all-terrain tires, skid plates, and an external roll cage. Oh, and the doors have been replaced by steel tubes. An adorable hardcore 4x4? It sure looks like it.
The Tokyo Auto Salon has always been a showcase of Japan's aftermarket car scene. Just like before, it has also become a platform for automakers to let their hair down a bit and show their more fun side. This year will be no different, and it's all the more reason to go to this show...provided you have tickets, of course.
