No less than Ford Motor Company president and CEO Alan Mulally unveiled the Everest concept in Sydney, Australia, today, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. We got these official photos of the concept vehicle from the American carmaker\'s media website, but couldn\'t find an accompanying press statement.

According to the Australian newspaper, this Everest concept was created by Ford\'s design team Down Under.

Ford chief operating officer Mark Fields was quoted by the paper as saying: \"This is our vision for a large, seven-seat off-road SUV to allow our customers to take on the world, and it was created by our world-class design team here in Australia.\"

Mulally, for his part, reportedly declared: \"(The Everest is) designed right here in Australia for Australians and for the world.\"
