Ready for more Captcha code-like model names from Toyota? On the first day of the 2024 Beijing Motor Show (Auto China 2024), the Japanese carmaker unveiled the latest electric vehicles in its portfolio: the bZ3C and bZ4X. We wonder what it’ll call its next EVs after this one. But we digress.
These two new battery electric vehicles will cater specifically to the Chinese market, and both were built jointly with Chinese carmakers. The bZ3C was developed alongside BYD, FAW, and Intelligent ElectroMobility R&D Center by Toyota (IEM by Toyota). As for the bZ3X, it was created together with GAC Toyota Motor, the Guangzhou Automobile Group, and IEM by Toyota.

Both EVs feature familiar faces, sporting a look similar to the all-new Prius. The bZ3C features crossover shape with a swooping rear end, and was designed around the concept of a ‘reboot.’ The bZ3X, meanwhile, is more SUV-like than its stablemate, and actually has a Fortuner-like silhouette when you look at it from certain angles. It promises a large interior space, too.
Toyota hasn’t published any specifics yet, but it did confirm that both models have the latest advanced driver-assist systems available. No word on whether these two new models will make their way to markets outside of China, either. What do you guys think, though? Would you like to see this in the Philippines?
