“A vehicle with room for family, friends and gear, which looks right at home carving up canyon roads.”
That was apparently the brief for Toyota’s SEMA build this year, and so the skunkworks team at the Toyota Motorsports Garage came up with…a wagon! Because if you want practicality and genuine sportiness, you don’t want an SUV.

Although TMG did actually start with an SUV—its creation has been christened the Crown Signia GT-S Concept, and as you can tell from the side-by-side shots up above, this build began its life as a standard 2026 Crown Signia.

The team then chopped five inches from its ride height with custom MCS coilovers, before treating it to a wide-arched bodykit, an open-mouthed grille, and a chunky rear diffuser that we’re sure is creating massive downforce.

No word on any mechanical mods, so it probably still has the standard Crown Signia’s 2.5-liter four-cylinder and eCVT hybrid setup, but those gold 21-inch HRE wheels are surely worth an extra 100hp.
Anyone else reckon Toyota needs to make a wagon like this for real?
