Enchanted Kingdom sets stage for races this weekend

For a second straight weekend, Enchanted Kingdom will plays host to two different motorsports series as part of its Speed Month @ EK 2009 festivities.
On August 8 and 9, the theme park's Kart Trak becomes the venue for the fourth leg of the 2009 Magnolia Health Tea Underbone King Championships. The event features six racing classes:115cc Super Stock, 115cc Sports Production, 115cc Open, 130cc Open, 150cc Open and 180cc Automatic Scooter four-stroke. Expected to fight for the championship are Team Suzuki's Paul Mark Doblada, Castrol's Herbert Lopez and Tres Hermanas' Mark Barcial.
For those who are into motorsports of the four-wheeled variety, August 9 is the date to remember for the 8th leg of the National Slalom Grand Prix at the Enchanted Kingdom's parking lot. Top contenders include Peewee Mendiola, Nino Sarte and Milo Rivera with titles in the professional, novice and front wheel classes at stake.
Last weekend, Enchanted Kingdom hosted the 2009 Magnolia Karting Series and the 2009 Rally Extreme.
