Ford announces new customer service programs

Ford Group Philippines is aiming to make customer experience stress-free and more enjoyable with a lineup of new service-oriented programs for Ford owners.

Ford has launched the Ford Solutions Service Program which “offers an optional comprehensive after-sales customer service package that will extend the joy of owning a Ford years beyond after you first take it home.”

Part of the program is the Ford Premium Extended Warranty where customers can enjoy a comprehensive warranty covering parts like engine transmission, computer control unit, air-conditioning system and factory-supplied audio/ video systems. The Ford Premium Extended Warranty must be availed before the vehicle is 30 months old or has traveled over 90,000 kilometers. Customers can also extend the original manufacturer's warranty coverage for up to five years to protect the vehicle against mechanical and electrical repairs after the original three-year warranty coverage expires.

The Ford Premium Extended Warranty is available in a 12-month or 25,000km plan, whichever comes first; and a 24-month or 50,000km plan, whichever comes first.

Ford also has a Ford Scheduled Service Plan for clients who want to protect themselves and their vehicles from the the possiility of increased costs of parts and labors on a scheduled basis. This service can cover vehicles for up to five years from the date of purchase and it is available in the following schemes: 24 months or 50,000km, 36 months or 60,000km, 48 months or 80,000km, and 60 months or 100,000km.

Ford also has a 24-hour Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA) service for Ford customers. Basic services entitle customers to four free services in a year with up to three availments covering vehicle towing, battery jump-starts, fuel delivery and change of flat tire. ERA customer service assistants can also provide customers with information on hospitals, transmittal of urgent messages, arrangement of alternative means of transportation, medical evacuation and other related services that can be of help to Ford customers during an emergency.

Meanwhile, Ford is offering Focus owners the 24-Hour Parts Guarantee Program with more than 60 pre-selected parts for the repair and maintenance of a customer guaranteed within a day. Ford guarantees that the Focus will be repaired and that the necessary part is readily available within 24 hours or the part will be free of charge. According to Ford, the vehicle must be repaired in an authorized Metro Manila dealer workshop within the three-year warranty period.
