July will be a busy month indeed for Ford Group Philippines. Besides launching the all-new Focus and expecting actual units of the Ranger, the Mustang, and the 2.0-liter Explorer with EcoBoost next month, the American carmaker is also expecting the arrival of the upgraded 3.5-liter Explorer Limited in the Philippines.
Upgrades on the 3.5-liter Explorer Limited include additional segment-first technologies like Active Park Assist, Lane Keeping Technology, Blind Spot Information and Adaptive Cruise Control systems.
Other updates to the Explorer Limited are the rain-sensing wipers, HID headlamps, and a power tilt/telescoping steering column. The 3.5-liter Explorer Limited also features the world's first inflatable second-row seatbelts, which the 2.0-liter Explorer GTDi XLT with EcoBoost is also equipped with.
The additional smart technologies featured in the updated Explorer Limited help further expand customer choice in the popular Explorer lineup. The all-new Explorer was launched in October 2011 and was followed by the reveal of the 2.0-liter Explorer GTDi with EcoBoost technology last March at the Manila International Auto Show.
"The demand for the all-new Explorer has been extraordinary," said Ford Group Philippines president Randy Krieger. "Now with additional segment-first smart technologies, we are confident that its position as one of the clear segment leaders in the Philippines will be cemented."
The all-new 3.5-liter Explorer Limited will be available by July at P2.595 million.
