Ford Philippines has awarded 23-year-old Information Technology professional Maria Patriz De Vera Dumlao an all-new Focus Titanium+ as her grand prize for winning the Focus's "Start it. Share it. Win it" campaign.
"I am excited to bring home the new Focus and make it my daily driver," said Dumlao. "One of the things I dread is parallel parking--so the Focus with active park assist is perfect for me. Also, I can't wait to pair my phone with Ford SYNC. Thank you, Ford Philippines!"
The "Start it. Share it. Win it" campaign gave customers the unique opportunity to be part of the local-market launch of the all-new Focus by participating in both online and on-the-ground activities over a 12-week period. More than 1,000 participants personally experienced the first-in-market and first-in-segment features of the all-new Focus, like its active park assist and active city-stop systems, at seven event locations in Metro Manila.
The participants were filmed in real time during their 'smart demo', capturing their spontaneous reactions. The videos were then uploaded to Facebook, with the 10 most popular videos being named as finalists. The participant with the most popular video--Dumlao in this case--won the all-new Focus Titanium+, while the nine other finalists were given a third-generation 16GB Apple iPad each.
"The result of the integrated campaign exceeded our expectations, allowing us to witness an extraordinary level of excitement among our customers by providing them a unique and personal experience with the all-new Focus," said Ford Philippines assistant vice president for marketing Prudz Castillo.
