ACMobility recently opened its ‘Drive Electric. EV Safety Program,’ a five-module curriculum that aims to educate Filipinos about care and ownership of electrified vehicles. The modules were crafted with the help of the Department of Energy, the Bureau of Fire Protection, the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines, and the Philippines EV Community.
Topics include ownership economics, best practices for EV charging, and emergency protocols. The program should also clarify and debunk any misconceptions that come with EVs and their corresponding infrastructure.
After launching the initiative at the Ayala Museum on September 4, 2026, ACMobility will be rolling out more seminars across the country. The safety program is expected to expand to corporations, fleet operators, and anyone else interested in shifting to electrified mobility.

Future participants can also expect more hands-on activities, including test-drive opportunities with expert guidance.
ACMobility CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala reiterated the program’s commitment to educating Filipinos: “As we continue to build an end-to-end electric mobility ecosystem, our ultimate priority is to empower the Filipino driver to make the shift to a more sustainable and cost-effective transport option.
“We are taking on the commitment to spread EV safety awareness through the ‘Drive Electric. EV Safety Program’, which aims to equip Filipinos with practical tools and accessible technical knowledge on EVs.”
