EV charging solutions provider ACMobility has teamed up with Robinsons Malls to expand its network and provide more accessible EV charging spots across the country, particularly in key provincial areas.
The two companies will have 10 fully operational EV charging hubs by the first quarter of this year. Five of these are already available to use at Robinsons Malls locations in Ilocos Norte, Iloilo, Roxas, Dumaguete, and Pagadian; sites of future hubs include Tuguegarao, La Union, Antique, Iligan, and Butuan. Each will be equipped with 22kW charge points, except for Robinsons Butuan, which will have two 7kW charge points.

The partnership allows Robinsons Malls to provide a new service to customers while promoting clean mobility. For ACMobility, meanwhile, the new chargers further expand its EV Spine Network from Pagudpud in Luzon to Pagadian in Mindanao, providing accessible and reliable charging infrastructure to current and future EV owners nationwide.

Users can locate stations through the Evro app. Aside from Station Finder, it also has features like real-time availability tracking and in-app payment options to make the EV charging process more seamless.

“We want to break the misconception that EVs are only suited for city driving,” said Carla Buencamino, ACMobility’s head of mobility infrastructure. “By bringing these facilities closer to regional communities, we are sending a clear message: Owning an EV is practical and sustainable, no matter where you live.
“With Robinsons Malls supporting this cause, we are confident we can bring this infrastructure to more people across the country.”
