Good news for EV and PHEV drivers: The station finder on the Evro app has now mapped all EV charging stations registered with the Department of Energy. Previously, the app only displayed stations managed by ACMobility, the mobility arm of the Ayala Corporation.
In total, there are at least 240 EV charging stations marked on the Evro app, and EV drivers can expect timely updates as the country’s charging network progressively expands. According to the DOE, there are currently 912 charging stations in the country, with major conglomerates planning to set up more and more.

ACMobility boasts 96 stations across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, and it plans to open 10 more in the near future. Meanwhile, SM Prime has contributed 131 stations to the Philippine charging network, with 50 more on the way by year’s end.

The Evro app also gives users charger compatibility information and availability updates to help reduce time spent waiting and looking for a charging station. Payments can also be coursed through the app with Evro Partner Stations—many of which are operated by ACMobility. And in case charging stations are hard to come by, EV drivers can book remote charging sessions with ACMobility’s Power-on-Wheels service right from the Evro app.
With the DOE aiming for a total of 7,000 EV charging stations by 2028, tools like the Evro app will be essential in adopting EVs and expanding the charging network.
