New on-demand delivery service app Amigo launched

In case you are having a hard time booking your deliveries, a new on-demand delivery service app has joined the market to help meet the growing demand. Amigo is the latest product by Project Move, Inc. and it connects customers to riders for their delivery needs.

With the app, users will be able to book riders for delivery of parcels and packages with insulated boxes, cash handling, queuing service, and purchase service or ‘pasabuy’. Amigo customers can select a date up to a month prior to schedule a booking. Partner riders will be able to accommodate parcels or items up to 20kg. The app will even let users have up to 20 drop-off locations for one booking.

Payment options

Payment methods for Amigo include cash, credit or debit card, and e-wallets such as PayMaya. And with an in-app chat function, customers will be able to contact their assigned riders or a customer agent where they can send their location or images. Other features include a feedback function, transaction history, and even e-tipping. And if app users find it difficult to find a rider who’ll accept their booking, customers can pay a priority fee.

For security, Amigo has real-time tracking of riders and a security code feature to ensure the package arrives at the right location to the right people.

Rider onboarding and incentive programs

Amigo also shared that the onboarding process for interested motorcycle riders is 100% online. The app also has advanced analytics in helping partner riders improve their personal delivery. There will also be an AmiGoals, the app’s incentive program, and leaderboards to gamify the riders’ delivery experience and make the app more engaging. Riders will receive their earnings in real-time after every delivery using their Amigo Wallet feature.

For partner merchants, package insurance with clear and easy-to-understand guidelines on different situations that they may encounter like product damage/loss, cancellations, and mishandling, will be available. Amigo will also provide special promos and pricing as well as weekly analytics reports.

The delivery service app is available on App Store and Google Playstore and will start its operations this February 2021.
