Saudi Arabian company Aramco has officially opened its establishment located along Dr. A. Santos (Sucat Road) in Parañaque. The inauguration marks Aramco’s first fuel station in the Philippines after acquiring a 25% stake in UniOil

The inauguration took place on July 16, and was attended by executives from both Aramco and UniOil. The station features eight fuel dispensers carrying the brand’s ProForce premium gasoline and diesel, along with regular fuel. There’s also an Express Care workstation with two service bays for car repair and maintenance.

Regarding fuel prices, the rates posted on launch day displayed P77.40 per liter for regular diesel, P75.30 for regular gasoline, P81.60 per liter for ProForce diesel, and P80.50 per liter for ProForce gasoline. We’ll get a better idea of how Aramco’s fuel prices and quality compare with others when the brand expands its presence in the country.

Speaking of expansion, Aramco expects more fuel stations to show up in the near future, with locations along the North Luzon Expressway, North EDSA, and Quezon Avenue already in the pipeline.

Aside from the ribbon-cutting and first top-up ceremony, the launch also featured a racing simulator where guests could try a virtual lap using the Aston Martin F1 Team’s AMR26.  There was also a Tire-Change Challenge for two people to see who could successfully remove and install a wheel first using either a cross wrench or an impact wrench.

“Filipinos deserve world-class products, better service and more meaningful choices,” said UniOil Philippines president Kenneth Pundanera. “Together with UniOil, Aramco hopes to create an experience that is both world class and warmly Filipino.”
