The Autohub Group has officially introduced Zeekr, a car brand under Geely Automotive Holdings. Formally launching Zeekr in the country is Autohub Group president Willy Tee Ten and Zeekr ASEAN leader Alex Bao.

Autohub actually announced that it was bringing in Zeekr at its 25th anniversary last March. But now we know which models are here and how much they cost. For its initial lineup, Zeekr Philippines is bringing in the Zeekr X and the Zeekr 001. It’s good to see Chinese brands sticking to a basic naming convention with simple letters and numbers.

Zeekr X

First off with this all-electric lineup is the Zeekr X, starting at P2.6 million. It’s a crossover with a 66kWh battery, 445km of range, and a 0-100kph time of 3.8sec. Propelling this EV forward is 422hp and 686Nm of torque from the electric motor. Other features include a Yamaha Surround Stereo, massage seats, ventilated seats, and 22/kWh AC charging with 200kWh DC charging.

The other model, the Zeekr 001, starts at P3.625 million and comes in a rather cool shooting brake body style. It has a bigger battery of 100kWh and a longer 620km of range. It has 544hp and 686Nm of torque that can bring it from zero to 100kph in 3.8sec. Like the Zeekr X it has a Yamaha audio system, massage seats, and ventilated seats. Charging comes in at 22kWh AC charging and 150kWh DC charging. With the right charger, the 001 can charge from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

“The Zeekr vehicles that we are launching today, which push the boundaries of electric vehicle technology, represent the Autohub Group’s commitment to introducing future- forward and sustainable mobility solutions that are tailor-fit to the Philippine market,” says Willy Tee Ten. “This grand launch marks only the beginning of an even stronger partnership with Zeekr to deliver the future of driving.”

The first Zeekr showroom will rise in Bonifacio Global City, along 32nd street.

“The launch of these Zeekr vehicles today will definitely accelerate the shift toward electric mobility solutions in the Philippines, which is a key market for us at Zeekr,” says Alex Bao. “We are confident that the Autohub Group, with its proven track record and strong market presence, can help push the Philippines toward more sustainable solutions and deliver more innovative products to Filipino consumers.”
