BMW Group’s Designworks and Lufthansa Technik have partnered to create a luxury cabin concept called ‘The Bow.’ The cabin provides high-profile users, such as executive groups, sports teams, and artists, a luxurious space for collaboration and a group-centric VIP travel experience.
At the entrance of The Bow, you’ll find the reception, which houses a coffee and beverage bar. As you move further inside, you’ll see the central lounge, which features two multifunctional curved touchscreen displays for presentations and entertainment.

There’s also a large presentation table that can transform into four individual segments for breakout sessions or dining. The table features Hidden Touch, which allows passengers to operate a wide range of cabin functions through a touch panel that disappears when not in use.

The entire cabin also integrates Lufthansa Technik’s NICE (Network Integrated Cabin Equipment) technology, which lets passengers control in-flight entertainment and cabin management through a single integrated system.

Aside from the collaborative area, there are private suites that passengers can utilize for solo work sessions. Called the Bow Suite, it adopts a signature design language defined by arcs, soft shapes, and premium materials, while also incorporating sensory features such as acoustic shields, mood lighting, scent options, and subtle storage solutions.
The concept is designed for ‘shared exclusivity,’ while enabling highly individualized customer involvement. All of the cabin’s floor plans, suite configurations, color schemes, and functional zones can be flexibly tailored to the client’s specific mission profile.

“Designing spatial experiences is a fascinating field for us, one we explore across many dimensions: on the road, on the water, and with ‘The Bow’ once again in the skies, says Designworks Munich Studio director Annette Baumeister. “With Lufthansa Technik’s new cabin concept, the journey becomes a destination in itself.”
“With ‘The Bow’, we are elevating group-centric VIP travel to a completely new level,” adds Lufthansa Technik Sales VIP & Special Aircraft Services vice president Fabian Nagel. “This concept offers customers unprecedented flexibility and allows operators to tailor every mission with an experience that is both highly functional and luxurious.”
The concept cabin was presented at the 2026 Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, Germany. The event is considered the world’s leading trade show dedicated to aircraft cabin design. Is this the most luxurious cabin you’ve seen? Let us know in the comments.
