The official numbers from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers in the Philippines (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) are out, and we now have a picture of what 2025 was like for the automotive industry.

According to the latest report from CAMPI and TMA as well as other available industry data, 491,395 cars were sold in the Philippines in 2025. Note, however, that CAMPI and TMA’s official data only comes from the total sales of its members and does not include all automakers. To be more specific, this total doesn’t include BYD’s numbers from last year, which is why CAMPI’s official total is only 463,646 unit sales.

The grand total reflects a 3.7% growth from 2024’s 467,252 sales total, surpassing the previous record. The current rankings from CAMPI, however, only include its members, so you won’t see BYD in the list. Based on the sales numbers, however, the Chinese carmaker has propelled itself to third place.

But for the purposes of this article, we’ll be focusing on CAMPI’s report for the rankings. Unsurprisingly, Toyota Motor Philippines is still sitting pretty in the number one spot with 229,447 units sold, equivalent to a 49.49% market share. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines is in far second with 86,808 units sold.

Even farther is the third spot—which BYD would’ve held if it were part of CAMPI—wherein Suzuki Philippines sits with 21,984 vehicles sold. Ford Philippines finished in close fourth with 21,784 vehicles sold, while Nissan Philippines finished in fifth with 20,571 units sold.

Isuzu Philippines beat out Honda Philippines for the sixth spot, with the former moving 17,237 units last year, slightly higher than the latter’s 16,257 total. Hyundai Motor Philippines has also breached the five-digit sales mark for yet another year with 10,475 units sold. MG Philippines and Kia Philippines retain their ninth and 10th spots with 8,715 and 7,810 units sold, respectively.

Notable addition to this list is Tesla, which had a strong 2025 with 2,424 units sold, now in 12th place. Above Tesla and still solid in 11th place is Foton. These two, however, are still a ways away from getting into the top 10.

“We attribute last year’s achievement to the aggressive promotional campaigns and the new product introductions from the various car brands which expanded consumer options especially in electrified and commercial vehicle segments,” said CAMPI president Jose Maria Atienza.
