Honda Cars Philippines is on a roll.

After announcing four new dealerships (Naga, Greenhills, Calamba and Tacloban) earlier this year, the Japanese carmaker is at it again, breaking ground last Sunday for a new showroom on Marcos Highway in Pasig City, near Robinsons Metro East. Besides these five new outlets, Honda already has 28 existing dealerships across the country, complemented by three service centers.

Honda Cars Marcos Highway, like the one in Greenhills, is owned by the Yuchengco Group of Companies, and belongs to the Honda Cars Quezon City Group.

In attendance during the ceremony were YGC House of Investments chairperson Helen Y. Dee, Honda Cars Philippines president and general manager Tatsuya Natsume, and Pasig mayor-elect Maribel Eusebio.

According to Gene de Jesus, general manager and COO of the Honda Cars Quezon City Group, they are optimistically looking at January 2014 for the new dealership\'s official opening date.
