There's a big change happening over at Ford Philippines. The American carmaker has just announced the appointment of a new managing director for our country effective August 1. Meet Bertrand Lessard.

Mr. Lessard comes to our shores following a stint as interim managing director of Ford France, where he helped the company maintain its position as the number two imported brand in the market and oversaw the launch of the Mustang. He will take over from Lance Mosley, who will repatriate back to the United States after six years in the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Lessard will look to continue Ford's upward surge in the Philippines, which includes the company’s all-time best quarterly sales performance.

“Bertrand has a wealth of experience with Ford in markets around the world, and his leadership will help us continue to grow our business and our brand in the Philippines," said Ford ASEAN president Mark Kaufman.

“Lance put tremendous attention to improving Ford's aftersales support of our customers, and the benefits of these efforts will be seen for years to come,” added Kaufman.

Welcome to the Philippines, Mr. Lessard!
