If only we could keep our cars in pristine condition forever. But from the moment we drive off the dealership’s lot, little scratches, dents and nicks accumulate over time. And then one day, we look at our car and realize it needs a wash-over—or as we also call it, hilamos.
If you’re a Honda owner, this is a bit of good news. Honda Cars Philippines is bringing back its Paint Washover Promo for all models. This will run until August 31, 2016, in select Honda dealers.
The rates offered by HCP are 30-50% off from the regular price. For the Brio, Jazz, City, Civic and CR-Z, a wash-over costs P27,000, while a change of color goes for P37,000. For the larger models, the Mobilio, Accord, HR-V, CR-V, Pilot, Odyssey and Legend, a wash-over is P33,000 and a color change is P42,000.
If you’re still having second thoughts about those prices, keep in mind that Honda dealerships use methods similar to how it’s done in the factory. They use premium quality paint and modern facilities. Maybe the only thing better than this procedure is to bring your vehicle back to the plant and have them repaint it—and as far as we know that’s highly unlikely.
