Ahead of its October arrival in the Philippine market, iCaur Philippines has signed on its initial batch of dealer-partners. The Chinese brand’s founding dealers include MG Gateway, Britannica United, DC Automotive, and Laus Auto Group. All of these parties provide plenty of experience in the local industry which will prove valuable to a new brand entering the market.
iCaur Philippines describes the signing of its new dealer-partners as an act of “building the local foundation needed to support its customers and its growing portfolio of electric vehicles.” The brand falls under the larger umbrella of Chery marques, along with the likes of Omoda and Jaecoo.
Specializing in electrified SUVs, iCaur Philippines’ initial lineup will consist of the V23 and the V27 SUVs. Both models have already surfaced in the Department of Energy’s list of recognized electric vehicles, confirming that the former is a smaller BEV while the latter is a large REEV.

The vehicles’ boxy, retro-inspired design language is core to iCaur’s visual identity. Both the V23 and the V27 incorporate details and elements from renowned off-roading nameplates, while also providing a futuristic twist typical of Chinese cars. The brand also claims that its vehicles are designed to encourage personalization and customization.
iCaur Philippines remains on track to formally launching its brand and its vehicles in the near future. It has expressed excitement at providing the Philippine market an experience that brings together “classic design, intelligent technology, and everyday usability.”
