Test drive events are usually pretty straightforward affairs. You drop by, check out some cars, take a few for a spin, and take advantage of a special financing scheme. But every once in a while, a carmaker goes the extra mile or two to offer people more than the usual.
Mini Philippines has the right idea. The company is holding its first Mini Festival in Bonifacio High Street, 10am to 9pm, this weekend (until October 22), and it's giving customers and fans an actual reason to stick around after a stint behind the wheel of its model range.
For starters, a festival bazaar area and exhibits have been set up to showcase Mini's history and a ton of legitimate merchandise from the British carmaker. Then there's the graffiti wall where you can get in touch with your creative side. Lastly, you can treat yourself to a grooming session courtesy of Mini's pop-up men's grooming barbershop.
And if you do happen to make a purchase at the event (you can drive home a Mini for as low as P34,199), you'll also qualify for a shot at flying to the Mini plant in Oxford, UK, to see how they're made.
So great cars, great haircuts, and a chance at a free trip abroad. Need any more reasons to drop by?
