Mitsubishi has revealed that it will unveil three concept SUVs at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show next month. The show cars will incorporate a new design identity "that symbolizes the sense of security and functionality of an SUV."
The Concept GC-PHEV is a next-generation full-size vehicle that utilizes a high-output plug-in hybrid electric system and offers the "dynamic drivability of an SUV and class-leading environmental performance."
The Concept XR-PHEV is a next-generation compact SUV that's equipped with a lightweight and highly efficient PHEV system, and reportedly boasts the styling of a sports coupe.
The Concept AR is a next-generation compact MPV that has the mobility of an SUV and the useful cabin space of an MPV. Unlike the two previously mentioned PHEV concepts, the Concept AR benefits from Mitsubishi's latest fuel-efficiency technologies for its downsized direct-injection turbocharged engine.
If these three are indeed next-generation vehicles, what models do you think they could replace in the Japanese carmaker's current product line?
