It’s been a very interesting year for the Philippine automotive industry. The Chinese carmakers have been aggressive with their launches, unveiling one new model after the other, in their attempts to overthrow the Japanese dominance in the market.
The latest sales report from the Philippine Automotive Dealership Association (PADA) is out, and we now have year-to-date sales figures as of October 2025. Toyota Motor Philippines, of course, still sits very comfortably at the top, with Mitsubishi Motors Philippines coming in at far second. The rest of the top five, however, have changed, at least when we compare them to the H1 report of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines.

According to the PADA report, Nissan is in fifth with 18,125 vehicles sold. Suzuki is in fourth with 18,295, while Ford, in third with 18,631. For context, PADA’s report indicates Toyota has sold 185,201 vehicles in 2025, while Mitsubishi, 73,878. That’s how far ahead the top two brands are, and how tight the third to fifth places are.

Isuzu is currently in sixth with 14,688 vehicles sold, and Honda is in seventh with 13,458. Hyundai sits steady in eighth with 8,939 unit sales, with MG and Kia following in ninth and tenth with 7,578 and 6,772, respectively.
There’s a wider gap from the 10th place, though. Foton and Tesla are fighting closely at 10th and 11th, with the former tallying 2,770 vehicle sales and the latter, 2,165. In total, 386,723 vehicles have been sold across 45 automotive brands under PADA so far this year.

It’ll be interesting to see how the remainder of the year plays out, with potential car buyers looking to shop for new rides this Christmas and carmakers rolling out promos left and right.
