The Philippine automotive industry has seen consistent growth throughout the year. After starting out 2025 strong, it ends H1 with 230,912 vehicles sold, good for a 2% year-on-year increase. This was according to the latest report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA).

As expected, Toyota Motor Philippines remains at the top with 111,276 unit sales, accounting for 48.19% of the total sales so far. Up next is still Mitsubishi Motors Philippines at 44,021, followed by Nissan Philippineat 11,859. Ford Philippines has then managed to overtake Suzuki Philippines, with the two brands moving 10,953 and 10,732 units so far this year, respectively.

The rest of the top 10 sees no movement, with Isuzu Philippines remaining ever so slightly ahead of Honda Cars Philippines, followed by Hyundai Motor Philippines, MG Philippines, and Kia Philippines. Worth noting, however, that Kia grew significantly by 43.6% compared to the same period last year.

The biggest change in the rankings comes courtesy of Tesla, which jumped from 20th at the end of Q1 all the way to 12th by the end of Q2 and H1. It has now sold 1,477 vehicles in the Philippines this year, and we only expect that number to grow in the coming months. Both Mazda and Jetour have also moved up a few spots, while Chinese carmakers Lynk & Co. and BAIC and Vietnamese brand Vinfast have joined the rankings.
