Honda Cars Philippines might be introducing a solid contender in the cutthroat SUV segment soon. This month at the 2016 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), the Japanese company will unveil a new seven-seater SUV. Developed by its Asia Pacific R&D team in Thailand for the Asian market, the new model will feature a tough exterior design, high ground clearance, roof rails, alloy wheels, and high-level safety features. The seats will be laid out in a three-row configuration.

Honda’s showcase at PIMS 2016 will also feature its latest line-up, including the updated version of the City, the new-look HR-V, and the all-new Civic. Test drives will be available for interested buyers.

For racing fans, Honda will also be bringing over the McLaren-Honda MP4-30. The McLaren-built F1 racer sports a Honda RA615H engine, which is a 1.6-liter V6 hybrid that can rev up to the F1 max of 15,000rpm.

To get a glimpse of this new SUV, visit the Honda booth at the 2016 PIMS on September 14-18, at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
