Regular oil changes are crucial to prolonging the lifespan of any vehicle—especially one that racks up mileage in Metro Manila’s demanding traffic conditions. Understandably, no one wants to go through gridlock just to visit the casa or a mechanic for an oil change, so here’s a more convenient way to get it done wherever you are in the country.
Fuel and lubricants aren’t the only car essentials available at Shell—the company is now in its 24th year of offering vehicle oil change services in the country. At the recent “It’s All Good” event, the energy and mobility solutions firm announced that it now has a network of over 500 Shell Helix Oilchange+ and over 250 Shell Advance Motocare Express facilities across the country.

“Every Shell Helix Oilchange+ service is performed by our mechanics who get training and certification from Don Bosco and TESDA, ensuring your vehicle receives top-notch care,” said Jolo Valdez, country business manager for non-fuels retail at Shell Pilipinas. “You can be assured that only quality Shell lubricants and genuine consumables are used.”
The updated Shell Helix Oilchange+ stations have spacious lounges that allow customers to monitor their vehicles while these are being serviced. Mechanics also perform a free service check with every oil change to flag any common battery or mechanical issues.

Meanwhile, the Shell Advance Motocare Express aims to cater particularly to service riders who need quick, affordable service. Motorcycles require more frequent oil changes than four-wheeled vehicles, and to this end, Shell’s motorcycle oil-change service comes free of labor charges and takes only 15 minutes.
“More Shell Advance Motocare Express locations means that riders can get their quick oil change right when they need it, wherever they may be, and all within the time it takes to sit down for a quick snack and a cup of coffee,” said Shannen Lee, country lubricants and vehicle care category manager at Shell Pilipinas.

Shell Go+ members earn points with every oil change. What’s more, the company gives back to the community via the Shell Helix Oilchange+ scholarship, which, with companies like Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, also supports automotive servicing graduates via apprenticeship and internship opportunities.
