Tesla has been making a lot of noise in our market since its official arrival, launching a number of models that have its competitors taking notice and following that up with the launch of its first Supercharger station shortly thereafter. Now, it has opened the first official Tesla Center in the country in Bonifacio Global City.
The new Tesla Center is located at Uptown Parade on 36th Street, right across Uptown Mall. It houses a showroom with a multiple-car display and brand merchandise on sale. The service center—which is air-conditioned, by the way—can be found at the back of the facility. It has room to accommodate several cars at a time.
The carmaker held a launch ceremony earlier this week, wherein President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. was also present to share his thoughts.

“As Tesla lays a groundwork, and as we invest in infrastructure and implement policies supporting the industry, competition will grow,” said Marcos. “Then, what may seem as aspirational today—half of the vehicles in our streets as EVs—will become attainable tomorrow.
“To Tesla, thank you for believing in the Philippines. Your investment in the country extends beyond transportation and infrastructure; it is in the people and potential of the country. To the Filipino people, let us work together to ensure that this milestone runs parallel with our shared journey towards sustainability, inclusivity, and innovation.”
