It might be unusual to hear about a graduation in December, but for 75 young hopefuls, Christmas just got a whole lot better. The Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology (TMP Tech) recently held its fifth commencement exercise for its two-year Toyota General Job Automotive Servicing Course. The new graduates are now equipped with the skills needed to work in the after-sales departments at Toyota and Lexus dealerships nationwide.

“I know that you will be more than motivated now that you shall be taking on the role of true Toyota professionals, providing excellent technical service and creating more customer smiles," TMP president Satoru Suzuki told the graduates.

TESDA director general and guest of honor Guiling Mamondiong echoed a similar message, which was delivered by deputy director general Rosanna Urdaneta: “Armed with the necessary competencies, continue honing your craft and adhere to the principles of excellence that will propel the country in taking the path towards global competitiveness and global recognition.”

The ceremony was held at TMP Tech’s campus in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. To the new graduates, congratulations! We hope you enjoy your new careers to the fullest.
