Eurobrands Distributor Inc. (EDI), the official importer and seller of Peugeot vehicles in the Philippines, may have taken a while to build actual showrooms for the French car brand, but its business plan is now gradually gaining traction. In fact, it has already opened dealerships in Las Piñas (pictured below), Manila City, and Cagayan de Oro (also pictured below). And now, to enable EDI to serve more customers in Metro Manila who are clamoring for Peugeot's offerings, the distributor has erected a temporary sales outlet at C-5 Libis, specifically on the corner of E. Rodriguez Avenue and Carlos J. Caparas Street in Barangay Ugong, Pasig City.
(Wait...Carlo J. Caparas has a street named after him?!)
"We have committed to opening 12 Peugeot dealerships in 2013," said EDI marketing and communications director Dong Magsajo. "Now, although the C-5 facility is scheduled for full operational capability later this year, we deemed it necessary to open a temporary sales outlet immediately in order to meet the growing demand for our vehicles. Eventually, the C-5 Libis dealership, just like all our other dealerships, will be capable of delivering the full Peugeot ownership experience. At this point, however, given the enthusiastic response of the public to our mall displays, we'd like to address our buyers' immediate concern, and that is having a fixed sales facility in a busy district such as C-5 Libis. We thank the Filipino car-buying public for embracing the Peugeot brand and our many offerings with such gusto. This move is made primarily with them in mind."
