Toyota PH to mark 25th anniversary with week-long expo

Toyota Motor Philippines is marking its 25th anniversary this year by mounting a week-long expo to be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from August 10 to 18.

Known as \"The World of Toyota Motor Show,\" the event will feature \"past, present and future Toyota vehicles\" and is the Japanese carmaker\'s way of celebrating its Silver Jubilee with its customers \"for their unwavering support for the past years.\"

For the show, a total of 36 Toyota vehicles will reportedly be on display in the venue\'s halls. According to Toyota Fest Philippines, the carmaker\'s partner in the show, these 36 Toyotas will be divided into the following: five exotic Toyota vehicles, 14 Toyota classic models, 11 modified classic models, five SUVs and a race car.

From what we\'ve gathered, some of the classic cars that will be on display are a Sports 800, a third-generation T40 Corona, a five-door Starlet, and even a Century limousine. We might even see Toyota\'s current models as gussied up by some of the country\'s top aftermarket shops.

Besides the exhibit at the World Trade Center, Toyota car clubs of different models have also signified their intent to participate in the show via their own outdoor exhibits and activities.

So, if you\'re a Toyota fan or you simply want to see a lot of Toyotas in one venue, you know where you need to be in the next few weeks. Tickets to the indoor exhibit will be sold at the gate at P25.
