Volkswagen Philippines--aka Automobile Central Enterprise--has announced the lucky winner of the 21st Century Beetle which the company raffled off during its grand brand launch last weekend. ACE president John Philip Orbeta drew the winner at the closing ceremony for the weekend festivities at the Greenbelt complex in Makati City.
According to ACE, a seven-year-old boy named Cherub Nikolai Bedano got the big prize. The raffle contest had no minimum age requirement. To qualify for the raffle, exhibit visitors simply had to register and complete the tasks assigned to all participants--one of which was a tour of the VW heritage display at Ayala Museum.
Well, better luck next time to all those who didn\'t win. If you really want the Beetle badly, you may still own it by buying one. The car is expected to be priced from around P1.5 million when it officially arrives early next year.
