TopGear.com.ph Philippine Car News - Isuzu Philippines adds special features to Crosswind to create Sportivo X variant

Isuzu Philippines Corporation has added special SUV features to its best-selling multipurpose vehicle to come up with the Crosswind Sportivo X variant.

"The Crosswind is a very important model for Isuzu Philippines Corporation as we intend to reach our sales target of 13,000 units this year," said IPC president Ryoji Yamazaki. "Around half of that total will come from Crosswind models. That is why we want to continually offer Filipino families vehicles that are suited to the times while still giving them the best value for their money. The 2013 Sportivo X is such a vehicle as it keeps the strengths that various Crosswind models have been known for but now carries many premium features."

As to what the special features are, these are: roof rails for securing various outdoor gear; a rear spoiler with a high-mount LED stop lamp and reverse camera, which is a feature found only in premium vehicles; power-folding side mirrors garnished with chrome and equipped with LED turn signal lamps; a matte-black spare tire cover with silver accent; a real-time reverse sensing system fitted into a one-piece design rear diffuser; practical side step boards and a pair of all-weather foglamps in front; and 15-inch performance alloy wheels wrapped with all-terrain tires.

Even the Crosswind Sportivo X's interior has been updated with a top-of-the-line multimedia entertainment system complementing the beige leather seats to give it "a truly upscale and sophisticated ambience."

The 2013 Isuzu Crosswind Sportivo X comes in Rich Red, Satin Silver, and Ebony Black paint jobs. It is priced at P1.205 million for the four-speed automatic transmission, and P1.140 million for the five-speed manual gearbox.
