McLaren shows off P1 undergoing extreme weather tests

While we\'re all waiting for McLaren Automotive to deliver the first units of its P1 hypercar, the British boutique carmaker is busy wrapping up the car\'s development program all over the world.

As part of the car\'s durability testing, McLaren\'s development team recently brought the P1 to the frozen landscapes of the Arctic Circle in northern Sweden where the car \"was put through its paces and tested to the extremes, in some of the most hostile and toughest conditions on the planet.\"

According to McLaren, the P1\'s prototypes are running extensively across the globe with the development team busy working \"to optimize the groundbreaking systems and technologies that have been borne of 50 years of race-winning knowledge and expertise.\"
