After setting up its northernmost charging station in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, ACMobility headed south and opened a brand-new hub in Lucena, Quezon.
Located at PTT Lucena, just across the Lucena City Government Complex, the new station features a single 120kW DC charging port and two 22kW AC chargers. Like all other stations operated by ACMobility, this one is also supported through the Evro app to give EV owners availability updates and a cashless payment option.

With its continuously growing charging network, ACMobility aims to inspire EV owners to take longer road trips. As shared by the company’s head of infrastructure, Carla Buencamino, “Every new station means more freedom for EV drivers to go farther and explore more.”

“We want Filipinos to enjoy the journey as much as the destination, with the confidence that they can charge reliably along the way, anywhere in the country,” continued Buencamino.

Following the new station’s inauguration, ACMobility and the local government of Lucena now plan to open more charging hubs around the city. Commuters around Lucena are also expecting a new fleet of electric public vehicles, which should also benefit from more charging stations.
With Lucena located around 140km from Manila, the new station also serves as a strategic charging location and pit stop for travelers heading to Bicol and other southern parts of Luzon in their EVs. Further down, ACMobility has opened charging stations in BYD Camarines Sur and Ayala Malls Legazpi.
