Earlier this year, the Land Transportation Office confirmed that it was taking action against the organizers of the BMW Owners Society of Saferiders (BOSS) Ironman Motorcycle Challenge that was held in Mindanao. Now, the agency has shared exactly what ‘actions’ it has made.
The LTO confirmed that it has issued a cease and desist order against the organizers, preventing them from conducting “similar activities.”

The LTO also confirmed that a total of 32 drivers were issued Show Cause Orders. Among them, 14 had their licenses suspended for three months, while 17 were sternly warned. One was disqualified from acquiring a driver’s license.
