If you’ve been thinking about heading over to Baguio City just before summer ends this year, here’s your sign. Well, if you live in the south, that is.
Bus operateor HM Transport has just opened its new Calamba-Baguio P2P bus routes, with several trips available daily between the two cities. First trips are scheduled at 2am, with the last trip departing from Calamba at 11:30pm and the one from Baguio at 10:30pm.

There are a total of 12 daily trips for each route, with varying intervals from one trip to another. A one-way ticket costs P942 each. The buses will take the Dau, Urdaneta exit en route to Baguio City.

With Calamba being one of the main access points to Metro Manila for those coming from Laguna’s other towns and municipalities, this new route should serve helpful for plenty of commuters and tourists. Also, considering today’s fuel prices, a roundtrip that would cost less than P2,000 per person doesn’t sound like such a bad idea.
