Full guide: Sucat Interchange of Cavitex C5 Link now open; here are the access points

Cavitex users traveling regularly to Sucat and Taguig, here’s something that could speed up your journey by up to 10 minutes: The Cavitex C5 Link Sucat Interchange is now open to motorists. The new interchange opened on Sunday, June 23, 2024.

Here’s a quick overview of the newly completed segment.

What is the Cavitex C5 Link expressway?

As the name implies, the Cavitex C5 Link expressway will connect areas serviced by the Manila-Cavite Expressway (Cavitex or R-1) to C5 in Taguig. Once completed, the entire tollway will span 7.7km.

The newly opened 1.9km portion up to Sucat Interchange comprises Segment 2 of Cavitex C5 Link, and connects Cavitex to Sucat Road. It will cut travel time between the two areas by 10 minutes, according to Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC).

What are the entry and exit points of Cavitex C5 Link Segment 2?

At the moment, aside from the R-1 Interchange and the Sucat Interchange, Cavitex C5 Link also has access points at C5 Road in Taguig and Dr. A. Santos Avenue and Parañaque. Here are the access maps released by CIC:

From Cavite to Dr. A. Santos Avenue

1. Enter Cavitex C5 Link via R-1 Interchange eastbound entry.
2. Head straight along Cavitex C5 Link expressway.
3. Proceed straight to Sucat Interchange westbound exit ramp and turn left onto Ninoy Aquino Avenue.
4. Continue along Ninoy Aquino Avenue and head straight onto Dr. A. Santos Avenue.

From Cavite to West Service Road

1. Enter Cavitex C5 Link via R-1 Interchange eastbound entry.
2. Head straight along Cavitex C5 Link expressway.
3. Turn right onto Sucat Interchange eastbound exit and head straight onto the exit ramp.
4. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto C5 Road Extension and continue straight through Kaingin Road.
5. Turn right onto C5 Road Extension.
6. Head straight to reach West Service Road.

From Cavite to Taguig

1. Enter Cavitex C5 Link via R-1 Interchange eastbound entry.
2. Head straight along Cavitex C5 Link expressway.
3. Turn right onto Sucat Interchange eastbound exit and head straight onto the exit ramp.
4. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto C5 Road Extension and continue straight through Kaingin Road.
5. Proceed straight onto the Merville eastbound entry ramp.
6. Head straight along Cavitex C5 Link expressway.
7. At the end of the expressway, make a slight right to enter C5.

From Manila to West Service Road

1. Enter Cavitex C5 Link via the R-1 Interchange eastbound entry.
2. Head straight along Cavitex C5 Link expressway.
3. Turn left onto Sucat Interchange westbound exit and head straight onto eastbound exit ramp.
4. At the end of the ramp, turn left right onto Ninoy Aquino Avenue, then turn right onto Amvel Avenue.
5. Merge onto C5 Road Extension and continue straight onto Kaingin Road.
6. Turn right onto C5 Road Extension.
7. Head straight to reach West Service Road.

From Taguig to Manila

1. Enter Cavitex C5 Link via the C5 westbound entry.
2. Head straight along Cavitex C5 Link expressway.
3. At the end of the ramp, continue onto C5 Road Extension, then head straight through Kaingin Road and continue straight onto C5 Road Extension.
4. Turn right onto Amvel Avenue, then left onto Ninoy Aquino Avenue.
5. Turn left onto Sucat Interchange westbound entry, then continue straight along Cavitex C5 Link expressway.
6. At the end of the expressway, turn right onto Cavitex Manila-bound.

From Taguig to Cavite

1. Enter Cavitex C5 Link via the C5 westbound entry.
2. Head straight along Cavitex C5 Link expressway.
3. At the end of the ramp, continue onto C5 Road Extension, then head straight through Kaingin Road and continue straight onto C5 Road Extension.
4. Turn right onto Amvel Avenue, then left onto Ninoy Aquino Avenue.
5. Turn left onto Sucat Interchange westbound entry, then continue straight along Cavitex C5 Link expressway.
6. At the end of the expressway, make a slight left and merge onto Cavitex Cavite-bound.
