Starting May 5, 2026, higher toll fees will be in effect on the Cavitex-C5 Link. This comes after the opening of Segment 3B, which effectively completed the connecting thoroughfare, allowing motorists to travel between Parañaque and Taguig in just 15 minutes, according to Metro Pacific Tollways (MPTC).

After its inauguration on March 30, Segment 3B remained toll-free throughout April. However, the Toll Regulatory Board has officially approved fare collection on this new link and its updated prices.

According to MPTC, Segment 3B has served almost 9,000 vehicles a day since its opening. Along with boosting business operations between industrial hubs in Cavite, Metro Manila, and other nearby provinces, the expressway also aims to support motorists traveling to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. C5 should also be more accessible to travelers coming from the south of Manila.
