More and more Filipinos are considering switching to electric vehicles or hybrids to navigate the city. These cars are seen as a sustainable way to navigate the traffic-choked metro and as a practical solution amid fluctuating gas prices.
Green public transport, too, is slowly becoming a reality. The Quezon City bus service now operates a fleet of electric buses that provide free transportation along Route 1 from QC Hall to Cubao, with more routes in the works.

Ayala Corporation, through its sustainable energy arm ACMobility, offers over 90 EV charging stations across its malls and key urban hubs for customers to top up their vehicle’s battery. All these are stations have received accreditation from the Department of Energy (DOE).

2) SM Malls

With multiple locations nationwide, SM is another popular mall option for EV charging. SM Prime Holdings offers DOE-accredited EV charging stations, so you can readily plug in your car at over 160 chargers in 73 SM malls nationwide.

3) Megaworld Malls
DOE-accredited operator Megaworld Corporation also has various charging stations situated within flagship townships like Eastwood City and around Luzon and Visayas. Megaworld’s ‘Park, Charge, Drive’ stations welcome all types of electric-powered vehicles, including Teslas, as well as e-bikes and scooters, making them ideal for different EV users.
The EV charging hub can be found in Eastwood Mall near the mall entrance. This major IT-BPO hub is home to many offices, dining establishments, and modern condominiums, making it an accessible option for those who live, work, or have mall errands in the area.

4) Robinsons Malls

Robinsons Malls has also launched EV charging stations as part of its commitment to a sustainable and greener future. Its network of Shell Recharge EV Charging Stations, in partnership with Shell, is available at four premier shopping destinations around the metro.

5) Fuel stations with EV charging hubs
For ride-hailing drivers who use EV vehicles and owners who don’t have time to visit malls, some fuel station chains also offer charging stations as part of their clean energy and sustainability campaigns.
Unioil along Congressional Avenue is one spot to recharge. You can grab a quick coffee at the convenience store while your car juices up.

Shell also offers EV charging stations in several locations around Quezon City, including New Manila, Tomas Morato, and Aurora Boulevard. near San Juan.
6) Government-sponsored EV charging stations
Free public charging points, set up in partnership with the V-Green Global Charging Station Development Corporation (V-Green), Meralco, and Mitsubishi, are giving local users an accessible spot to charge EVs.
Owners of electric tricycles, e-scooters, and EVs in Quezon City can find free rapid-charging stations in three key locations.
