We just released an article about a motorist getting caught for distracted driving as he tried to get footage of a motorcycle accident from behind the wheel. Well, it appears that’s not the only interesting EDSA-related story you’ll be reading this week.
Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (SAICT) enforcers recently caught an SUV driver for misusing the EDSA Busway. After flagging the motorist down, though, authorities discovered that said he had already been caught for the same violation earlier that day. Some people never learn, do they?
What’s worse, the driver was only able to show a ticket, as his driver’s license had already been confiscated at that point. Unbelievable stuff.

In addition to all that, the SUV was also illegally equipped with blinkers, which added another violation to the driver’s big ticket.
The photos were shared by Gadget Addict on social media. What’s baffling about this is that it’s bad enough to get caught illegally on the Busway given just how many motorists get flagged down there on a daily basis, but to be caught twice in the same day? You’ve got to be real stubborn for that.
