In case you’ve forgotten, the EDSA Rehabilitation Project is still in full swing, with phase two ongoing. This segment of the project will complete the rehabilitation works from Orense, Makati to the other end of EDSA in Monumento, Caloocan.
Construction resumed on Friday, July 3, and will continue nightly for the rest of the month. Specifically, select lanes will be closed between 10pm and 4am for asphalt overlaying and concrete reblocking. The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has reiterated that no full road closures will be implemented, as EDSA will remain open to motorists.

However, the agency advises motorists to consider taking alternative routes during construction hours to avoid potential traffic jams. From the schedule shared by the DPWH, it looks like the overall project will not finish in July. With that, we can expect construction to continue in August, and hopefully, all works will wrap up by then.
