The Department of Transportation has announced that the LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3 train lines will be implementing a fare relief today, July 21, 2025, starting 12nn. Along with this, the DOTr has also secured trucks and buses from the Philippine Coast Guard and the Philippine Port Authority to help rescue stranded citizens in flooded and unsafe areas. Rides will also be free, and the DOTr will be announcing where citizens can board these vehicles.

At the time of writing, operating hours on Metro Manila’s train lines will remain standard: LRT-1 will run its last train from Dr. Santos Station at 10:30pm and from Fernando Poe Jr. Station at 10:45pm, LRT-2’s last ride from Antipolo is scheduled at 9pm and 9:30pm from Recto, and MRT-3 will hold its last trip from North Avenue at 10:45pm and 11:04pm from Taft Avenue.
