PH fuel price update: P1.10/L hike for diesel, P0.40/L for gas effective July 22

Not so good news: It’s the second consecutive week of price hikes for this month.

From July 22 to 28, 2025, gasoline prices will once again rise by P0.40 per liter, adding to last week’s P0.70/L increase. Diesel prices, meanwhile, will go up by another P1.10 per liter, following the previous P1.40/L uptick Finally, kerosene prices will have a price hike of 0.70 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P9.40/L and P12.45/L, respectively, since the beginning of 2025. Meanwhile, kerosene will have had an overall increase of P2.55/L for the year thus far.

If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
