After the pre-Holy Week rollback, we’re now set for rising fuel prices again this coming week.

For the period of April 22 to 28, 2025, gasoline prices will increase by P1.35 per liter. Diesel prices, too, will go up by P1.30 per liter this week. Finally, kerosene will have a price hike of P1.10 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P2.30/L and P2.85/L since the beginning of 2025, and kerosene prices will have had a net decrease of P1.80/L since the start of the year.

If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work. Is your car consuming more fuel than usual? Here’s one thing to check. While we’re at it, here are the signs your fuel injectors could be failing.
