Bad news: April is kicking off with more fuel price hikes.

For the period of April 1 to 7, 2025, gasoline prices will increase by P1.40 per liter, after the previous P1.10/L increase. Diesel prices, meanwhile, will go up again by P1.20 per liter, again adding to last week’s P0.40/L uptick. Finally, kerosene will have a price hike of P1.20 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P3.25/L and P3.25/L since the beginning of 2025, and kerosene prices will have had a net decrease of P0.30/L since the start of the year.

If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
