PH fuel price update: Rollback of P0.90/L for diesel, P0.30/L for gas effective May 13

Fuel prices continue to trend downward this week, with diesel in particular having a bigger price decrease.

For the period of May 13 to 19, 2025, gasoline prices will decrease by P0.30 per liter, which is slightly lower than last week’s P0.55/L rollback. Diesel prices will also go down by P0.90 per liter, adding to the previous P0.65/L deduction. Finally, kerosene will have a price rollback of P1.25 per liter.

Once these adjustments take effect, gasoline and diesel prices will have gone up by P2.80/L and P2.10/L since the beginning of 2025, and kerosene prices will have had a net decrease of P3.25/L since the start of the year.

If you want to save up on fuel costs, remember that fuel prices may vary depending on location and the brand of the fuel station; it might be cheaper somewhere along your regular route than near your place of residence or work.
